How to find us and parking

If you are driving to visit us then our main visitor car park is located on Main Street in Guardbridge with a short walk across the road to the distillery. There are some additional parking spaces located directly in front of the distillery which can be accessed via the entrance to the Eden Campus and disabled parking bays are also located here. Please be aware that the large car park in the Eden Campus is the property of the University of St Andrews and can only be used by Eden Mill Distillery guests on Saturdays and Sundays.

Do I have to book in advance?

We would always recommend to book in advance however, we will always endeavour to accept walk-in guests depending on availability.

We are located around a seven-minute drive from St Andrews in the village of Guardbridge. Our distillery is on the University of St Andrews "Eden Campus" and is clearly signposted.

Yes, you can purchase a distillery Gift Card here

Please note, Gift Cards can only be used against experiences and are not valid in bar or gift shop purchases.

We will be open 7 days a week with our first tour taking place at 11am and our last tour taking place at 7pm. The
bar will also be open 7 days a week from 12pm to 10pm.

We would always recommend using public transport so you can enjoy our experiences to the fullest.

However, if you are driving to the distillery then please refer the map above and in your booking confirmation to locate our car parking facilities. 

There are some disabled parking bays located just in front of the distillery which can be accessed via the entrance to the Eden Campus.

Please be aware that the main car park in the Eden Campus is the property of the University of St Andrews and can only be used by Eden Mill Distillery guests on Saturdays and Sundays.

We will be offering ‘driver drams’ to anyone wishing to take their  whiskies and gins away to enjoy later.

Yes, the distillery is fully accessible with a lift between each floor. If you are taking part in one of our experiences, your host will keep you right and accompany you to the lift.

Our distillery sits on a main bus route between St Andrews and Dundee.

If you are taking the 99 Stagecoach bus which goes between Dundee and St Andrews and runs every 10 minutes, you can get off at the Ashgrove Buildings right opposite our distillery. This bus also stops at Leuchars train station, which is located a 25 minute walk away from our distillery.

We allow children from the age of 8 on our tours when accompanied by an adult over the age of 18. Soft drink options will be available for anyone aged under 18. 

Kindly note that, at our discretion, we may ask for ID to verify the age of guests prior to serving alcohol.

Unfortunately, we do not allow dogs within our distillery due to the distillery being a beverage production area. Service dogs are welcome although guests should be aware that there is mesh mezzanine flooring in our production areas which may be uncomfortable for your dog’s paws.

We recommend that you arrive at least 10 minutes prior to the start time of your experience to allow for time to get checked in. If you are late, we will endeavour to add you into the experience at a suitable time which will not disrupt other guests although late arrivals are not always guaranteed entry.

Please wear comfortable footwear, high heel shoes are not permitted due to certain areas of the distilllery having a grated floor.
