Reservation Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions apply to reservations with St Andrews Brewers Limited t/as Eden Mill.


Eden Mill is the Eden Mill distillery and brewery operated by St Andrews Brewers Limited, a company registered in Scotland. Reservation or experience is a purchased or without-charge educational or leisure experiences that may be offered from time to time at Eden Mill premises. Examples of "reservations" are Gin Tours at Eden Mill, Beer Tours at Eden Mill, Whisky Tours at Eden Mill, and Gin Tasting Experiences at the Macdonald Rusacks Hotel. Premises are premises where experiences take place.


Eden Mill endeavours to provide you with an experience that commences and finishes at the scheduled times and is broadly as advertised by us. However, we do not promise to provide any particular, substantial set of deliverables to any person. We do not promise to serve samples of our product, and we reserve the right to reduce, vary, or withdraw samples routinely issued.


We reserve the right to refuse entry to any person, to vary the content of an experience, and to reschedule, curtail, suspend, or cancel any experience. We may do this without notice. Common reasons for the refusal of entry include:

  • Some Eden Mill premises are working sites where commercial production takes place. Safety may require our site close to visitors.
  • Licensing laws make it an offence to enter, and to permit entry to, drunken or underage persons. If you are drunk or unable to prove your age, we will need to refuse entry.
  • We are a working distillery with millions of customers around the world. Commercial priorities may require us to redeploy our staff and reduce our tour programme.

In such cases where we exercise these rights, you agree with us that the experience took place and no refund is due except when the experience is cancelled before it began. You agree that we are not liable for costs you incur because we exercised our rights, including, without exclusion, such costs as: hotel charges; travel costs; commercial damage suffered; and further costs incurred as a result of the cancellation or of actions you take in order to limit personal dissatisfaction, personal disruption, or financial damage caused by the exercise of our rights. Your statutory rights are not affected.

Your obligations

You must bring valid proof of age on all experience. If you are aged 16 or 17, you must be accompanied at all times by a paying guest who can prove they are aged 18 or over. You must not bring persons aged under 16 onto our premises. Scottish licensing law requires us to refuse their entry.

Refunds and compensation

If we offer to refund you, in all cases the total amount of refund will be limited to the admission price paid.

Notice to cancel

If you wish to cancel your experience, you must provide us 48 hours' notice by email to hello@edenmill.com. If you do not do so, no refund is due. If you do so, we will refund you to the payment method originally used within 7 working days. If you booked via a third party or with a coupon, entry pass, or other entry cost waiver, and you fail to give us notice, such coupon, entry pass, or other waiver is forfeit.
