£2 from every bottle sold of our limited edition Original Gin will be invested into organisations or charities who are help or support the NHS in any way. Each month we will announce and support a chosen charity.
We are proud to announce that from 22nd June 2020 £2 from each bottle of our Original Gin sold, will be donated to CHAS.
We absolutely love and appreciate the work that CHAS do, and we hope that we can help support families through their toughest times.
Megan Stobo, Senior Corporate Partnerships Executive from CHAS said;
"We are so grateful to the team at Eden Mill, and indeed their fantastic customers for supporting children and families through this wonderful initiative."
Knowing your child will die young is the hardest thing. It is made even harder with the constant worry about what Coronavirus infection means, and the stark reality of isolation.
Children’s Hospices Across Scotland, better known as CHAS, continues to be there for these families even in these most difficult times. Our hospices are still open but with reduced capacity - providing physical, hands-on support for the most urgent cases. Our CHAS at Home team continues to provide vital care in people’s homes. Of course, this is in addition to our ongoing work in hospitals to provide specialist palliative support to our NHS colleagues working with children with life-shortening conditions. This includes our specialist palliative care team in Glasgow Children’s Hospital, as well as our Diana children’s nurses who work in the major children’s hospitals across Scotland.
We are proud to announce that we reached our target for the first 2 months. These funds will be donated to Masks for NHS Heroes, a crowdfunding effort set up by front-line NHS doctors to help raise money for Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and Duty To Care, Duty To Care’s mission is to provide wellbeing support via online consultation to improve and sustain the mental health and wellbeing of healthcare professionals.
