Eden Mill Announce Major Redesign In Commitment to Sustainability

EDEN MILL LAUNCH NINE NEW PREMIUM GINS

Today, Eden Mill retired their iconic ceramic bottle and launched nine new premium gins
Eden Mill, St. Andrews today announced a significant bottle redesign and repositioning
of their gin range in a major step forwards in their journey to carbon neutrality.
The announcement follows the recent news that their carbon positive distillery and visitor
attraction which will use biomass plant and field electricity to power stills will open in Spring
2022. For the first time since 2014 the brand will distil their award-winning London dry style Original
Gin
into a glass bottle, joining their existing gin range and nine new premium gins in a
standardised new crystal cut design.

THE NEW BOTTLES USE 18% LESS GLASS

The new 70cl bottles which use 18% less glass than other industry standard bottles, are lighter
and more easily recycled than Eden Mill’s original ceramic bottles, which have been
synonymous with their brand identity and award-winning craft gin.

The move comes as Eden Mill, who recently signed a distribution deal with La Martiniquaise-
Bardinet move to reposition Original Gin and Love Gin at the lower price point of £25 for trade,
alongside a collection of nine quality new expressions.

PASSION AND INNOVATION

The new premium range showcases Eden Mill’s passion for innovation and experimental
product development, combining locally sourced botanicals with inspiration and influences from
across the world in a series of quality expressions to appeal to every palette. Standout gins
include Rosa Rosa Gin made from Rosa Canina and Rosa Damascena; Forager Gin, made
from berries found in the endangered hedgerows of St. Andrews, Passion Gin, an Eden Mill
favourite of Passionfruit and Coconut revisited and the brand’s new Christmas offering Golden
Lore Gin

In addition, Eden Mill’s popular Golf Gin, priced at £30 moves into a new super-premium gin tier
from Eden Mill, to be known as their Eden Mill Heritage Range. Further products in this
collection are due to be announced later in 2021.

Each Eden Mill gin has its own story; depicted beautifully with words and a unique woodcut style
print commissioned by Eden Mil’s design agency, Tangent, upon the label of the new bottles.
The new more sustainable glass design has been crafted and produced by wholesale bottle
merchants Croxsons.
